The tragedy of Pompeii – the city destroyed by the eruption of the Vesuvius volcano is one of the most famous and dramatic facts in the history of Ancient Rome. The city, turned into the stone, continues to live as an outdoor museum. This event is what unites the artworks and appears as a connecting line of some sort. The metaphor transformed into today’s life as the individual experience of creating own personal life and home, however the desired space or created reality being unsafe, full of unexpected events or even dangerous. These events might only be happening within the individual, creating the environmental and spatial barriers for that individual and leading to heavy consequences in the end. This series is a quest of a human which is searching for his/her own home and environment.
